Getting Here and Around!
Driving and Parking:
We are easily accessible by car. The FOLC Farm fronts on a paved road (SE 15th Street) and is conveniently located just three miles from downtown Gainesville. The property itself has a dirt drive and room for your parked car.
Directions: When traveling south on SE 15th street (towards Boulware Springs and Payne's Prairie) you will see Boulware Springs on the right. In less than 2/10 of a mile you will see The FOLC Farm sign and wooden fence on the left.
Flying:
The Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) is a small airport flying throughout Florida, Delta (arrives through Atlanta, GA) and American (arrives through Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX) and is located 6.5 miles (12 minute drive) from The FOLC Farm. Uber/Lyft/Cab from the airport to The FOLC Farm is available. Usually, flights into the larger nearby cities: Jacksonville (82 miles), Orlando (121 miles), Tampa (137 miles) cost less and will have direct flight options between large cities. If you fly into one of these larger airports, the easiest option to get to Gainesville is by car rental (can drop off at Gainesville airport). There are limited bus options.

Biking/Walking:
We are located nearly across the street (2/10 mile) from the Gainesville-Hawthorne cycling and walking trail at the Boulware Springs entrance. It is super easy and fun to get here by the paved trail and our favorite way! The trail is open during daylight hours and allows non-motorized vehicles only. Downtown Gainesville is within 3 miles, Depot Park/South Main is only 2.5 miles, and UF and Shands Hospital is 3.5 miles. The trail crosses one major road (Williston/Waldo) coming from the city. You can also take the trail SE in the opposite direction of Gainesville to enjoy Payne's Prairie and the trail all the way to the town of Hawthorne (15 miles).
Local Public Transportation:
The Gainesville RTS bus #2 has a stop very close (450 ft.) to The FOLC Farm. When using public transport while at The FOLC Farm, Bus #2 goes directly to Super Wal-Mart. You can transfer to Bus #3 (1 mile from The FOLC Farm) which goes to the main downtown Rosa Parks station. From Rosa Parks you can reach most places in Gainesville.
