Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Spring Break: March 5-12, 2022
An 8 day (72 hour) course that takes things to the next level! We will learn more advanced skills and treatments beyond the WFA class, go into each of the topics covered in the WFA in much more depth, learn anatomy and physiology, and have much more hands on practice and scenarios, and greater opportunity for experimenting and learning by trial and error. Basic Life Support (BLS) level CPR certification is included in this course (this is the CPR course taken by medical professionals). WFR is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who want to go beyond the basics, Scout leaders, outdoor trip leaders, camp counselors, people who work, visit or live in rural or remote areas, students in medical fields who would like extensive first aid training, and anyone who wants to expand their knowledge beyond basic first aid.
